Pineapple Juice follows Chloe - a first time porn actress who carries herself like a seasoned pro - and her encounter with Animal, a rookie porn producer who is playing it cool but deep down is terrified of shooting his first scene. This short but poignant comedic drama is less a story about porn as it is about people. Animal and Chloe are charming, sweet, uncomfortable, cute, aspirational and, at times, inadvertently sinister.
